New project in Serbia to foster the process of accession negotiations of the Republic of Serbia
Altair will implement the new Policy and Legal Advice Centre Project (PLAC II)
ALTAIR, in consortium with IRZ, European Profiles, Eurosupport and Eptisa, has been awarded a new EU project in Serbia to improve the current system of harmonization with the EU legislation.The period of implementation of the contract will be 30 months. The Contract aims at fostering the process of accession negotiations of the Republic of Serbia by supporting the effective alignment of national legislation with the acquis and its implementation and by further building the capacities of involved stakeholders – carriers of EU integration process in Serbia.
The Contract will provide assistance in:
- Enhancing compatibility of national legislation with EU legislation and its effective implementation.
- Strengthening capacities of relevant national structures for successful carrying out of accession negotiations.

Altair Asesosres, in consortium with DADA6 and SIPU, has been awarded the Technical assistance for the programme to support public administration reform and public service quality in Dominican Republic. The period of implementation of the contract will be 36 months. The aim of this contract is to provide long and short-term technical assistance, mainly to the Ministry of Public Administration, the entity in charge of the process to reform public administration in the country. Technical assistance shall also be provided to other public institutions involved in the programme (such as the National Institute of Public Administration), the entities prioritised in the programme (such as the Ministry of Interior and Police, and the Attorney-General's Office), training schools of these prioritised entities and the Ministry of Women's Affairs, the entity in charge of gender mainstreaming in public policy.
Altair Asesores S.L., in consortium with ICON Institut, Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA) and CEU, has been awarded, together with other 5 consortiums, the Lot 2 of the EIDHR — framework contract (FWC) for support to electoral missions.
Under the European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights, the EU supports genuine elections in partner countries in Africa, Middle East, Asia and Latin America through electoral missions, implemented by the European Commission. The electoral missions comprise, in Lot 2
(a) the Election Expert Missions (EEMs) – small expert missions to assess the electoral process in the partner country,
(b) the Election Exploratory Missions (ExM) to examine the feasibility of a possible EOM or EAT and
(c) the Election Follow-up Missions (EFM), to examine the extent to which the recommendations of past EOMs have been taken on board by the partner country.
The objective of this framework contract (FWC) is to provide, through specific contracts, integrated logistical, financial, security and administrative support to the Commission in deploying observation and expert missions as well as to provide the necessary support in terms of daily management, security and logistic expertise.
Representatives of the Altair Asesores company delivered two LCD TVs and two DVD players to the University Children’s Hospital Tiršova today. “We hope that this donation will contribute to an easier stay of children at the Hospital,” representatives of the company said. In the spirit of the coming holidays, the company decided to support this hospital which provides health care to the youngest, instead of organising a New Year’s cocktail for stakeholders.
The Spanish company Altair Asesores is implementing the project Legal Support for Negotiations (PLAC II), through which the European Union provides assistance to Serbia in the process of accession negotiations.
