AT PARAP II: ALTAIR coordina visita de estudios del INAP de la República Dominicana a centros de formación de funcionarios en España

La visita tuvo lugar entre el 19 y el 28 de noviembre de 2018 y el objetivo de la misma fue permitir a varios integrantes del Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública dominicano, incluida la  directora de la Institución Celenia Vidal, conocer de primera mano el trabajo que realizan varios Institutos Públicos españoles en el ámbito de la gestión de la formación, la formación por competencias y la innovación formativa. El Experto Principal de la AT al PARAP liderada por Altair, Juan Carlos González, fue el responsable de organizar y coordinar la totalidad de la visita y acompañó al grupo durante los encuentros en el país.  

El grupo visitó el Instituto Andaluz de Administración Pública en Sevilla, el Centro de Formación de la Diputación de Alicante y la Fundación CEDDET en Madrid. Del mismo modo, se mantuvo un encuentro con el Instituto de Administración Pública de la capital española. Esta institución, que en la actualidad se encuentra inmersa en un proceso de cambio estructural, trasladó al grupo las principales prioridades de su plan estratégico para el período 2017-2020.

En la parte final de la visita, las responsables del INAP dominicano se trasladaron a Lisboa donde mantuvieron encuentros con la Dirección General de Calificación de Trabajadores Públicos, es decir, el INA portugués.

Una de las acciones clave previstas tras el viaje de estudios en el marco del PARAP II es que el equipo visitante traslade las lecciones aprendidas a otras entidades beneficiarias del programa como son la Policía Nacional, la Procuraduría General de la República o la Escuela Nacional de Migración.

The European Union supports fair judicial expertise at regional seminar for Central Asian specialists
In the framework of the Rule of Law Initiative for Central Asia established by the EU and led by France and Germany, the project «Rule of Law Platform – Central Asia» funded by the EU will hold a“Regional Seminar on Fair Judicial Expertise”on 8 July 2014 in Almaty, aimed at deepening the dialogue and exchanges of best practices on forensic services and practices, in partnership with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Center for Judicial Expertise under the Ministry of Justice. Representatives from the diplomatic missions of the European Union, France, Germany and the United Kingdom to Kazakhstan will participate, demonstrating their common approach to linking judicial reform and democratic values to the country development. The objective of the seminar is to contribute to the process of organising and developing forensic activities in compliance with best interational standards, with emphasis on medical judicial expertise. Participants to the regional seminar on“Fair Judicial Exertise” will follow up the implementation of the Third Joint Ministerial Communiqué in the area of judicial reform (6-7 December 2012, Brussels) and will elaborate recommendations aimed at feeding the Fourth Ministerial Conference in the framework of the Rule of Law Initiative which will be hosted by Kazakhstan in Astana on October 14-15, 2014. Exchanges between judicial experts, lawyers and judges from France, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and the United Kingdom will take place, stirring the public dialogue on rule of law between State institutions and the civil society. As acknowledged by the European Court of Human Rights, “the expertise produre is a small trial within a trial” laying the foundation of the parties’ right to a fair judicial expertise, a key component of the adversarial process and the fair trial. A key element of the EU-Central Asia Strategy for a New Partnership, the “Rule of Law Initiative for Central Asia” project constitutes the overarching regional framework for enhanced cooperation in the rule of law area, aimed at supporting legal reforms in Central Asia and the sharing of EU experience. Under the auspices of the Rule of Law Initiative, the Rule of Law Platformregional project acts as a support mechanism to facilitate policy dialogue and promote the measures contributing to legal reforms in each of the Central Asian countries. REPUBLICAN COLLEGIUM OF LAWYERS OF KAZAKHSTAN AWARDS THE RULE OF LAW PLATFORM
On June 26, 2014 at the Tilen Kobiz Saraii Concert Hall in Astana, the Republican Collegium of Lawyers held a ceremony where medals and various types of awards were delivered to State bodies, lawyers, international organizations, public activists and journalists for services rendered to the Republican Collegium, the legal profession or for professional excellence. On this occasion, in the presence of Mr. Berik Imashev, Minister of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Mr. Anuar Tugel, Chairman of the Republican Collegium of Lawyers, President of the Union of Lawyers of Kazakhstan, Member of the High Judicial Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, presented an award to the Rule of Law Platform – Central Asia, a project funded by the European Union. The diploma was received by Mr. Xavier Barré, Team Leader, on behalf of the Platform, and was awarded “For active work on justice, judicial and legal reform development in the Republic of Kazakhstan which contributed to strengthen the status of the advocateship and the prestige of the advocacy”. New Framework Contract Awarded to ALTAIR!
The global objective of the Twinning Light Project “Strengthen the capacity of the National Data Protection Commission (CNDP) is to improve the protection of the rights to privacy and personal data in Morocco and the specific objective is to strengthen the institutional, organisational and operational capacities of CNDP to efficiently implement data protection law according with the EU legal framework. This Twinning Light project is part of the "Action Plan for Morocco for the implementation of the ‘Advanced Status’. Morocco wants to align with data protection European standards established by the Council of Europe and the EU.
