AT PARAP II: ALTAIR coordina visita de estudios del INAP de la República Dominicana a centros de formación de funcionarios en España

La visita tuvo lugar entre el 19 y el 28 de noviembre de 2018 y el objetivo de la misma fue permitir a varios integrantes del Instituto Nacional de Administración Pública dominicano, incluida la  directora de la Institución Celenia Vidal, conocer de primera mano el trabajo que realizan varios Institutos Públicos españoles en el ámbito de la gestión de la formación, la formación por competencias y la innovación formativa. El Experto Principal de la AT al PARAP liderada por Altair, Juan Carlos González, fue el responsable de organizar y coordinar la totalidad de la visita y acompañó al grupo durante los encuentros en el país.  

El grupo visitó el Instituto Andaluz de Administración Pública en Sevilla, el Centro de Formación de la Diputación de Alicante y la Fundación CEDDET en Madrid. Del mismo modo, se mantuvo un encuentro con el Instituto de Administración Pública de la capital española. Esta institución, que en la actualidad se encuentra inmersa en un proceso de cambio estructural, trasladó al grupo las principales prioridades de su plan estratégico para el período 2017-2020.

En la parte final de la visita, las responsables del INAP dominicano se trasladaron a Lisboa donde mantuvieron encuentros con la Dirección General de Calificación de Trabajadores Públicos, es decir, el INA portugués.

Una de las acciones clave previstas tras el viaje de estudios en el marco del PARAP II es que el equipo visitante traslade las lecciones aprendidas a otras entidades beneficiarias del programa como son la Policía Nacional, la Procuraduría General de la República o la Escuela Nacional de Migración.

Study visit of members of the House of the Representatives of Jordan to the European Parliament
In the framework of the EU project “Strenthening the institutional and administrative capacity of the Chamber of Deputies (CoD) in Jordan”, ALTAIR organized a study visit of CoD members and staff to the EU Parliament from 14 to 18 June 2015. During the visit, the Jordanian delegation met 8 Members of the European Parliaments (MEP) and many senior staff from the transnational parliament. During the exchange meetings, MEPs presented the strengths of their parliament, the approaches for continuous relations with citizens, EU budget and the EP budgetary discussions, and views with regard to strengthening interactions between the CoD in Jordan and the European Parliament.  Also, both parts discussed issues related to terrorism, stability and conflict in the region, democratic development and economic growth. The senior staff presented on the EP administrative and institutional strengths. The presentations covered research services, relations with citizens, Parliamentary ethics, the role of committee coordinators, gender mainstreaming, communication and media management, electronic voting, innovation and technological support services. The Jordanian MPs attended the meetings of two committees. The first on foreign affairs and it was the opportunity for MPs to listen to the report of Mr. Gilles de Kerchove, the EU Counter-Terrorism Coordinator, on the state of play of cooperation with third countries including Jordan. The second meeting was on international trade policy. This was the occasion for MPs to learn about the EU foreign trade policy and the challenges for the EU 2016 Budget. After the closure of the activities, the project team met the EU Delegation in Jordan to make an evaluation of the program and extract the lessons learnt. The delegation showed satisfaction for activities and the results of the study visit and the quality of speakers and the organization. PALOP-TL! NEW FRAMEWORK CONTRACT AWARDED TO ALTAIR!
The overall objective of the evaluation mission is to contribute to improving the quality of implementation of future cooperation projects between the EU and the PALOP-TL countries in the areas of governance and funded under the EDF, ensuring proper compliance with the financial, technical and contractual procedures.

Ivory Coast! NEW FRAMEWORK CONTRACT AWARDED TO ALTAIR!
The overall objective is to monitor and assess the efficiency and credibility of the Voter Registration process ahead of the upcoming Presidential elections in Ivory Coast. The purpose of the EEM is to collect factual information and undertake analysis concerning the registration and ongoing electoral process, in line with the criteria contained in the Commission Communication on Electoral Assistance and Observation. Moreover the experts will produce strategic analysis and reporting on the ongoing registration and preparation of the electoral process and will provide essential analysis for a possible EU EEM to be deployed for the Presidential elections.
